Colette Brumbaugh
Colette Brumbaugh is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting. Primarily a plein air painter, she works for the natural beauty of the landscape, balancing the direct observation of nature with a spontaneous use of the visual language of lines, shapes, textures and color. She is a member and exhibitor with the Columbia Palette, Columbia Art League, the Art House Gallery and the Missouri Valley Impressionist Society. Her work was chosen for the 2012 City of Columbia Commemorative Poster. She was the featured artist at the 2018 Missouri River Festival of the Arts. Collette's paintings can be seen on permanent display at the Boone Hospital, Boone Medical Group and Capital Regional Hospital. Her home and studio are in Columbia, Missouri. The Art House-Fulton, Missouri currently represents her work.
