Michelle Robyn Seat
Michelle Robyn Seat is a descendant of a long line of artists and artisans, and continues to be surrounded by an artistically creative family. It’s no wonder that Michelle enjoys continuing the art tradition, specializing in oil painting. Balancing her MBA education and former career in air traffic control with artistic pursuits is the perfect blend for Michelle, satisfying both her logical and creative sides.
Art is Michelle’s full-time passion, and her means of feeling harmony with the rest of the world.
Since relocating to Columbia, Missouri in 2008, Michelle has immersed herself in the Mid-Missouri art community. She is an active member of the Columbia Drawing Group and the Columbia Palette Group, and a former board member of the Columbia Art League. She is on the Orr Street Artists Guild board of directors.
Michelle’s art is in private collections, and is on permanent display at Washington University in St.Louis, William Woods University, and the historic Wabash Station in Columbia, Missouri. Michelle maintains a painting studio at the Orr Street Studios in Columbia, Missouri.
